Great Barriers started in 2011 with Shay and his father screening houses around Cairns. The same hands-on approach runs the business today.
What began as security screens for local homes has grown into security, access, privacy, shade and automation for properties from the Northern Beaches to the Tablelands and down the Cassowary Coast.
We stayed deliberately local. You speak to the people who quote, install and stand behind the work — not a call centre. That means honest advice about what a property actually needs, products chosen to handle FNQ's salt, heat and wet season, and installations completed to Australian Standards.
