Aluminium, timber-look and PVC options. Precise light control and a good fit for kitchens, bathrooms and studies.
Plantation Shutters

Battery, hardwired or solar-charged motors with remote, wall switch or app control, including timers for large runs of glass.
Local know-how
Light, heat and privacy — in that order
In the tropics the internal conversation is mostly about glare and privacy, because the serious heat is better handled outside. That changes what we recommend: sunscreen fabrics on the view windows, blockout in bedrooms, shutters where airflow matters as much as light.
Humidity rules a few things out. Some timber products don't love a Cairns wet season, so we steer people toward finishes that will still look right in five years rather than the ones that photograph best.
Everything is made to measure and installed by us. If a blind needs a tension adjustment six months later, we come back.
